Our Honeymoon

We went to Wrightsville Beach for our honeymoon! The weather was so nice, but the water was a little cold the first time we went. Daniel discovered that real quick! We did all kinds of things; built a sandcastle, swam in the water when it wasn't too cold, saw the battleship in Wilmington and visited downtown historic Wilimington where we went on a ghost walk and had homemade ice cream! The best part was our "honeymoon cottage" equipped with a porch swing and private beach access! The best part of the story is that even before we left for Wilimington, leaving our wedding night hotel, Daniel locked his keys in the trunk, and we had to pay a locksmith $125! The other best part was the bedroom at the cottage had so much light coming in at night that we hung a blanket over the window with steak knives to keep the light out! It was a fun week!
