We were jealous that the Halls and my parents went to Disneyworld without inviting us, so we decided to take our OWN trip to Busch Gardens. Okay, not really. Some people that Daniel works with were planning a day trip to Busch Gardens and invited us to go. So, on Saturday, we left at the earliest we could 7am, and drove from Greenville to Williamsburg, VA where the park is located. We spent the entire time doing something. First roller coaster was Loch Ness Monster, then a motion 4-D simluator in Ireland called Cork Screw Hill, then onto the Alpengeist. Then it was time for some lunch, although I don't understand how anyone gets hungry after riding roller coasters. After lunch, we split up a little. Daniel and I went to a show called Pet Shennigans, where trained pets do some stunts. That was just for me, since I am not a fan of roller coasters. Then we met back up with the rest of the group where they rode the Apollo's chariot which was Daniel's favorite, and then they had to ride the newest roller coaster called the Griffon that takes you up 210 feet, holds up at the top of a 90 degree drop and then lets you go. Sounds like fun huh?! It was a good day. The weather cooperated no rain, but no sun either. Everyone had fun! and me, I learned something new about my husband's love for roller coasters.
