The 22nd of June, which is a Sunday, we had an opportunity to attend church together. After sacrament, a bishopric member came up to us and told us he would love to meet with us. So we did, and they want me to serve as Ward Chorister! I was both excited and nervous, b/c I am not one that enjoys getting up in front of people. The funny part of the story is that the first weekend in June we went to Raleigh and weren't at church, and realized when we got back that I had gotten a call from one of the bishopric members to meet with him that sunday. Oopps, so it was good that we went to our new ward then, although I went by myself to church the previous week, and no one came up to me, but oh well. So last week, the 29th, was my first week being Chorister. I was a little nervous the first song, but with each song (3 total) I became more confident. I've been told it's the best calling. From my first experience, I would agree!
